This aerial photograph gives a fabulous insight into the location of the Lower Mill Estate, surrounded by lakes and wonderful wildlife.  The Lower Mill Estate occupies a peaceful corner of the Water Park.  On the Lower Mill Estate there are numerous walks and cycle rides to enjoy all of which are on your doorstep.  The area is internationally important for overwintering birds which can be watched from the balcony at Daisy Chain.  Other wildlife that thrives on the Lower Mill Estate includes beavers and otters.  We have loved being able to watch both of these amazing species, and being able to introduce guests to them.  Included in your stay is a fishing permit to allow you to fish in some of the lakes and a Canadian Canoe so that you can further explore the lakes.

It is really easy to spend a week on holiday at Daisy Chain without ever leaving the Lower Mill Estate – there is even a small shop where your paper can be delivered and you can buy bits and pieces you may have forgotten.  And while you are visiting the shop you can relax with a cup of coffee and a pastry.  Of course, on your way back to Daisy Chain the children will want to stop and say hello to the friendly chickens!
