Lower Mill Estate
Lower Mill Estate is situated in Cotswolds Water Park, 5 miles south of Cirencester and 8 miles north of Swindon. It provides an excellent location for exploring the Cotswolds – the Roman towns of Cirencester and Bath are within easy reach as are many beautiful Cotswold villages. We find it makes an excellent base for meeting up with friends and family from different parts of the country. The nearest town Cirencester is an historic and elegant town, with a Roman Museum to discover as well as a range of shops, cafes and restaurants. It has a Waitrose and Tesco and all the major Supermarkets will deliver your grocery order direct to your door.
Nearest airport: London Heathrow at 85 miles.
Nearest motorway: M4 Junction 15 at 18 miles.
Nearest railway station: Kemble at 5 miles – on a direct line to London Paddington

The Spa
As part of your holiday you have access to the award winning multi million pound Lower Mill Estate Spa (subject to availability). Millstone Park
With tennis courts, 3G artificial turf multi-use games area (MUGA), a playground and a soft play barn there really is something to keep everyone busy. Millstone Park is next to Ballihoo Restaurant, next to the Spa. A board outside each tennis court contains a sign up sheet where it is possible to book time on the courts in advance. Activity Hub
The Activity Hub provide a range of equipment that can be rented during your stay. This includes Canadian Canoes, Kayaks and Stand Up Paddle Boards. Rates start at approximately £30 per day for a Kayak or SUP up to £95 for a Canadian Canoe for 3 days. If you’d rather keep your feet on dry land you can also hire bikes from them – £30 per day for an adult bike. Children’s bikes are also available. Ballihoo Restaurant
The restaurant is exclusively for the use of Lower Mill Estate homeowners and rental guests and offers a comprehensive breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks and takeaway menu….or you can just pop in for a coffee and a slice of cake! Miss Mouse Trail
From April to October, a great way of exploring the Lower Mill Estate with your family is by doing the Miss Mouse Adventure Trail. The trail takes you on a route past five of the lakes on the estate, and along the way there are picnic areas, and treasure chests for children to find. The Miss Mouse Adventure Trail gives a lovely way of keeping children excited about having a walk while the older members of the family can enjoy exploring the wider estate.

Cycling
As well as a purpose built cycle track on the estate next to Farmhouse Lake, there are plenty of local cycling routes that can be enjoyed whilst soaking up the beautiful nature reserve. The roads around the estate are perfect for scooters and any number of wheels.
Cotswold Water Park
Cotswold Water Park covers an area of 42 square miles and is made up of 180 lakes providing a wonderful playground for a huge range of activities, both water and land based. Activities available include cold water swimming, fishing, sailing, and water skiing, as well as taking in the stunning scenery on a leisurely walk or bike ride. This amazing wetlands landscape hosts tens of thousands of breeding and watering birds each year and is an ideal destination for watching birdlife all year round.

Cotswold Beach
Cotswold Country Park and Beach just a 5 minute drive from Daisy Chain. It boasts the largest inland paddling beach in the UK. as well as an aquaventure inflatable adventure. Visitors can spend the day playing on the beach, taking a dip in the lake, playing mini golf or hiring a pedal kart. Admission numbers are limited so in hot weather book in advance.

Cotswold Sculpture Park
Cotswold Sculpture Park (open April – September) is a unique and inspiring destination less than 10 minutes drive from Daisy Chain. The park features a diverse collection of sculptures created by a variety of artists, displayed in a stunning natural setting. Visitors can stroll through the park’s gardens and woodland, admiring the sculptures.

South Cerney Outdoor
South Cerney Oudoor, a 10 minute drive from Daisy Chain offer a range of activities from sailing to windsurfing. They also have climbing tower and high ropes course. A range of sessions are available including taught courses.
