Accessibility at Daisy Chain
At Daisy Chain, we want all our guests to feel welcome and comfortable. We understand that accessibility needs vary and are committed to providing as much information as possible so you can determine if our holiday home is suitable for your stay.
Property Overview
Daisy Chain is a three-storey lakeside holiday home with five bedrooms, sleeping up to 9 guests (plus 2 cots). The home is designed for multi-generational stays, with bedrooms located on each floor.
Access and Layout
- The main entrance is at ground floor level.
- Internal access between floors is via a standard staircase. There is no lift.
- Three bedrooms are located on the ground floor, including one with a kingsize bed and en-suite bathroom. Two of these bedrooms have sliding glazed doors leading directly to the sun deck.
- The first floor is an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining and lounge areas. There is also one bunk bedroom on this floor.
- The second floor has a further kingsize bedroom with en-suite shower room.
Bathrooms
- The ground floor includes a family bathroom (shower over bath) and an en-suite bathroom (shower over bath).
- The top floor en-suite features a shower cubicle which has a step into it.
Mobility Considerations
- While the ground floor offers sleeping, bathroom and outdoor access, please note that all internal floors are connected by stairs and there is no stairlift or step-free access between floors.
- Doorways are standard width and may not accommodate all mobility aids.
- The showers are over-bath (except for the second-floor en-suite, which has a shower cubicle) and there are no grab rails fitted.
Additional Information
- Parking is available close to the property entrance.
- Flooring is a mix of carpet, tile and wood.
- We provide a cot and highchair for young children and the property includes family-friendly amenities.
