The most beautiful village in England

This was what William Morris (1834 – 96) once said of Bilbury, the charming and typically Cotswold Village. A recent article on the Huffington Post website entitled "The most charming towns in Europe you'll want to visit ASAP" selected Bilbury. As this photo by +Joe Daniel shows , it is a very photogenic village, with Artington Row, a row of weavers cottages built of Cotswold Stone one of the most photographed views. The River Coln runs through Bilbury with the main street on one side and the watermeadows on the other.
