During the summer, Bristol was host to a flock of oversized Shaun the Sheep sculptures which had been designed by artists and famous people from the worlds of film, art, animation and fastion. In early October, they were all auctioned off with the proceeds going to support the Wallace & Gromit's Children's Charity. The town of Tetbury has bought Nitwit. The sheep, was designed by Adrian Barclay, is wearing the sort of outfit that might have been knitted by a granny. It's wonderfully colourful and great for children to pose by!
Another beautiful Cotswold town, Tetbury is one of the most elegant. Tetbury is a thriving market town, and has an instantly recognisable pillared Market House, built in 1655. Visitors will enjoy exploring the many unique individually owned shops as well as many selling antiques. During the summer Tetbury is beautifully adorned with stunning floral displays which complement the architectural elegance of the town.
Tetbury is known around the world for its Royal connections. The home of HRH The Prince of Wales, Highgrove, is just outside Tetbury.
