Until 31st July Westonbirt Arboretum is joining in Gruffalo celebrations up and down the country to mark the 15th Anniversary of the much loved children's book 'The Gruffalo' by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. There are two trails at Westonbirt, one in the Old Arboretum, starting at Great Oak Hall and one in Silkwood, starting at Waste Drive.
Hidden in the deep dark wood is a giant Gruffalo sculpture. 15 forests up and down the country are home to giant Gruffalo sculptures – the picture is of the Gruffalo at Alice Holt Forest in Hampshire. Each Gruffalo is totally unique – visit Westonbirt to find out what their Gruffalo is like!
