Visiting on a Saturday (the best day for tastings!) gives you opportunity to stock up for the weekend. As well as stocking amazing cheeses the shelves are also full of local artisan produce including local ales and pies.

The Cotswold Cheese Company have shops in Burford, Moreton-in-Marsh and Chipping Campden. A visit to their cheese counter will introduce you to some wonderful products. St. Eadburgha is a white rinded cheese similar to brie, made in the foothills of the Cotswold hills. It was a gold medal winner at the British Cheese Awards and is always popular. Burford is made in Kingham. Milk from Jersey cows is used to make a firm cheese with a slightly nutty flavour. When you visit remember to ask to taste – and you will be taken on a wonderful journey to make you choice.
