Cotswold Wildlife Park

Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens, the largest privately owned zoological collection in the UK, exhibits over 260 different species of animals. The Park, which lies 2 miles south of Burford, is set in 160 acres of landscaped gardens.

The animals are really accessible, with a feeding platform by the giraffes, a walk through Lemur enclosure and a walk through aviary. There are lions, anteaters, meercats, zebras, camels, red pandas and penguins to name a few.

This year a ‘sky maze’ has been added which is made up of interconnecting tree houses, slides and jungle bridges, climbing to a birds eye view of the park 20 feet up in the trees.

A visit to Cotswold Wildlife Park makes a great family outing…make sure you plan to be there all day!
