Cirencester's Roman amphitheatre is the earthwork remains of one of the largest amphitheatres in Britain. It was built in the early 2nd century and served the Roman city of Corinium (now Cirencester). It held up to 8000 spectators.
Today, it is a wonderful hilly grassy area, perfect for the family to run around and roll down while their Mum experiments with her first photo spheres! What do you think?
