From 17th July – 9th August the Big Butterfly Hunt is taking place again. It is a nationwide survey which aims to help assess the health of our environment. In 2014 almost 560,000 butterflies and day flying moths were counted.
A stay on the Lower Mill Estate is a perfect time to join in theBig Butterfly Count. Why not head over to http://www.bigbutterflycount.org/ and grab a copy of their butterfly identification chart then head out with the children to find butterflies! It's a great family activity that everyone can enjoy!
