A great opportunity to be introduced to the birdlife of Cotswold Water Park is taking place this Sunday, 9th August from 9am – 12noon. Local birdwatcher and wildlife expert Nick Adams will be leading a guided walk around the lakes at Cleveland in Cotswold Water Park. It is rated as one of the birdwatching hotspots in the South West of England. Cleveland Lakes contains the largest area of reedbed, marsh swamp and willow carr in the Cotswold Water Park, making it an excellent place to view wildlife. It is a favourite feeding place for a wide range of waterbirds and dragonflies due to the high water quality and rich nutrients for the plants.
