The Village of Stanton near Broadway in Gloucestershire is a beautiful village of which artist Liam O'Farrell, who captured the village in this watercolour, wrote, "This is a stunning place to the point where you feel it might be a film set." With a population of approximately 200 people it is a quiet village built completely from the honey coloured Cotswolds limestone. The main street climbs slowly up Shenbarrow Hill and at the top The Mount Inn can be found. The best time to visit this traditional village pub is just before sunset when the views from the pub of the Vale of Evesham and the Malvern Hills are at their best.
